Ear Infection

We just can't seem to get on top of this ear infection that Jared has. After 3 big shots of Rosephin (a strong antibiotic), his ear has not changed at all. So he needs to see his ENT because the pediatrician doesn't know what to do now. Hopefully we'll be able to get in to see him quickly because the infection is in his ear that has the more severe hearing loss and I can't put his hearing aid in with it so infected. He keeps asking me to put his hearing aid in and says that he can't hear. So frustrating!

And on top of that the pediatrician thinks that Jared now has RSV. He has been running a fever of and on for the last couple of days and has a horrible cough. The doctor could hear some wheezing today and is pretty sure that RSV is what is causing it. The wheezing isn't too bad yet, so hopefully it won't get worse.

Jared is amazingly cheerful despite feeling crummy and was so happy to know that he didn't have to get a shot today at the doctor's office. Those Rosephin shots are nasty!

I'm ready for summer.
